DescriptionPurpose: Provide support with all preventative maintenance and repair activities of all production and non-production machines and equipmentEssential Duties/Responsibilities :Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety programPerform light preventive maintenance on production equipmentComplete all required documentationAssist in correcting unplanned machine breakdownsAssist in machine moves throughout the shopProvide technical assistance to production personnelWelding fabrication and repair as neededMaintain and operate coolant recycling systemAssist with emptying chip bins as neededReplace all machine filters including filter mistsWhere applicable perform visual inspections on all air compressors and dryersAssist with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic pneumatic componentsWhere applicable check and replenish or replace machine oil reservoirsWhere applicable check and replenish or replace machine coolant reservoirsService company vehicles as requiredWhere applicable clean/fill and inspect all forklift and floor scrubber batteries as neededWhere applicable take coolant concentricity readings in all production machines and coolant reclaiming system, document all readingsWhere applicable perform visual inspections on all online air compressors and dryers, document all readingsWhere applicable replace all air compressor oil and air filters as requiredCleanup work areas after jobs are completedPromote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employeesWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assignedRequirementsMinimum Requirements:Education & Experience : High School diploma or equivalent preferred1 year maintenance-related experience preferredJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Abililty to operate both Forklifts and Aerial LiftsMust be able to perform assigned duties with minimal supervisionMust have general knowledge of email and database applicationsAbility to communicate with a variety of peopleRegular AttendancePhysical Demands Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., rarely lifting up to 70lbs.Ability to stand for 100% of shiftAbility to do repetitive motions, i.e. bending, twisting, walking, crouchingAbility to work at elevated heightsAbility to climb laddersAbility to continuously operate a minimum of 3 hoursSee Functional Job Description for complete demands
