Provide services and support to Plant Operations maximizing availability, performance and efficiency. Focus on cost effective solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.\n\nReporting Relationships\nDirect report to the IT Manager.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\nIT Management\nConsult with plant management on continuous improvement ideas and fulfill requests.\nKey team member of projects to deliver new initiatives and/or service improvements.\nAssist with problem management resolution and permanent corrective actions.\nInterface with internal and external Adient Customers.\nSupport IT tasks related to launches and communicating updates at readiness reviews.\nOther duties as assigned by management\nIT Infrastructure & Applications\nResponsible for the daily operations of computer systems including but not limited to the following:\nPerform Level 1, incident management, support for hardware, communications, networking, software and shop-floor systems ran at the manufacturing facility. Escalate to next level support teams if applicable.\nMonitor, event management and administration of local IT Infrastructure.\nAdhering to the processes and standards of the company.\nProvide access to IT services while complying with Security and Vulnerability standards.\nEnsure system backups are current and can be restored.\nSchedule and coordinate hardware and infrastructure installation with Corporate and 3rd party suppliers.\nContribute to managing Key and Operational Metrics\nMaintain documentation of IT Services, Equipment and Procedures\nExperience & Skills\nMinimum Required:\nIT Analyst = 2+ years IT related experience.\nCommunication, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.\nSupport multiple work streams.\nA desire to have broad responsibilities and work in fast paced environment.\nWindows administrative knowledge (Servers and PCs)\nExperience with Networking Infrastructure and Architecture\n\nAdditional Desired:\nExperience in a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive industry.\nManufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.\nBasic database knowledge and report writing skills.\n\nEducation & Training\nRequired:\nBachelors’ Degree in IT.\nOr Associates/Technical Degree in IT related field of study with 2+ years of experience or additional equivalent experience.\nDesired:\nTechnical Certifications.\nContinuous Improvement training.\n\nOther Requirements\n7x24 on-call availability for critical plant operation system support\nWillingness to work overtime and weekends\nThis role partners closely with production and engineering teams to ensure systems are configured to support accurate MODAPTS (Modular Arrangement of Predetermined Time Standards) data collection, analysis, and reporting for operational efficiency.\n\nPay Range: $70,000-$80,000\nBenefits Start Day 1\nMedical, Dental & Vision insurance\nDisability\nLife and AD&D Insurance\n401k\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid vacation\nPaid holidays\n\nThe job description outlined above is not intended to be a detailed list of job functions or responsibilities.
