The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, enterprise application development, and IBM InfoSphere technologies, with experience developing and integrating data-driven applications.This role is primarily focused on application development and engineering and requires a candidate who can work closely with technical and business teams to design, develop, integrate, and enhance enterprise solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.Work with IBM InfoSphere technologies to develop, integrate, and enhance data management solutions.Develop application components using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.Build and integrate REST APIs, web services, and enterprise interfaces.Work closely with business analysts, architects, data engineers, and other development teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.Develop and implement data integration and processing solutions using IBM InfoSphere technologies.Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following established development standards.Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance tuning.Troubleshoot application and integration issues and implement appropriate fixes.Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.Work with databases and develop complex SQL queries as required.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes where applicable.Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations.Required Skills7+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere technologies.Experience developing and integrating data management/data integration solutions using IBM InfoSphere.Strong experience with REST APIs and web services.Strong SQL and database development skills.Experience working with enterprise application integrations.Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies.Preferred SkillsExperience with IBM InfoSphere MDM, InfoSphere DataStage, or related InfoSphere products.Experience with enterprise data integration and master data management concepts.Experience with microservices architecture.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.Experience in banking, financial services, or other large enterprise environments is preferred.Key RequirementCandidates should have strong hands-on Java development experience along with practical IBM InfoSphere experience.
