Overtime as required\n\nSummary of duties and responsibilities:\nPerforms all material handling functions involved in the manufacturing and assembly processes of Modineer Company.\n\nPrimary duties and responsibilities:\n\nReceives raw materials or finished goods into facility or department, moves to inbound storage area.\nGathers parts, raw materials or finished goods.\nGathers finished orders for movement to outbound shipping area.\nPerforms clerical and/or data entry/paperwork functions accurately.\nEnsures items are correctly labeled and free of defects.\nOperates forklift to move, load, and unload product and/or materials.\nOperates pallet jack, hand cart, or dolly, to move materials from one area to another.\nMaintains equipment in proper working order, routine preventative maintenance a necessary.\nPerforms housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.\nUnderstands inventory control functions.\nDemonstrates strong attention to details, high accuracy, and follow-through.\nDemonstrates strong organizational skills.\nDemonstrates regular and predictable attendance.\n\nEducation, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.\nWorking knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (PLEX is a plus).\nKnowledge of Glovia and Edibar work environments is a plus.\nKnowledge and experience in inventory control functions preferred.\nMust be able to operate a forklift safely, and maintain a clean, safe, environment.\nMust be able to work in a team environment.\n\nPhysical environment/working conditions:\n\nWorks in a manufacturing environment in warm or cold temperatures.
