In addition, operator will also assist with any operational issues that could arise. Works on assignments semi-routine in nature; has the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice when required. Re-stocking of materials occurs as well.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities:\r\nPerforms advanced work processes with a solid understanding of Lean instructions.\r\nDetailed procedures for new assignments and special projects are provided.\r\nPrograms and operates moderately complex computerized machining equipment.\r\nPerforms non-standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining, using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; in-process inspection, material transactions, and performs some clerical functions.\r\nPlans and executes moderately complex assignments using machine tools and equipment ranging from Manually Controlled equipment to CNC Machines.\r\nFollows and adheres to a daily schedule of assigned work.\r\nUtilizes broad variety of metals and extensive knowledge of measurements.\r\nPerforms on-line and off-line programming.\r\nUnderstands and lives by the Korry's culture.Preferred Education and Experience\r\nHigh school diploma or GED\r\nTrade school certification a plus\r\n5+ years' related machiningSkills and Abilities:\r\nExhibits strong communication skills.\r\nWilling to work extra hours, and potentially weekends as needed.\r\nRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.\r\nSolid understanding of Lean principles.\r\nMachinery & operational personal safety knowledge\r\nAbility to use and calibrate gauge settings and equipment to recognize the condition of dies.\r\nProficient with reading work-order schedules to production information; the size, type, and quantity to process.\r\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.\r\nCapable of altering simple programs, adjusts codes to work through material obstacles.\r\nSelf-sufficient in all areas of responsibility.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills.\r\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\r\nWorks well with others as an equal team member; sharing and learning.\r\nSafety conscious behavior\r\nExcellent attendance\r\nStrong attention to detail\r\nAdherence to health and safety regulations.Salary Range:Please note the typical hiring range is $37.39 - $50.59 Hourly.
