Assistant Baker

Be part of the opening team of a new artisan bakery in West LA. Diego’s Bakery is a modern artisan bakery focused on high-quality, from-scratch desserts that are balanced and never overly sweet. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Baker Assistant who is ready to work, learn, and contribute to all aspects of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role —ideal for someone who understands that great baking also requires prep, cleaning, and consistency. Responsibilities: Assist with daily baking and ingredient prep Follow recipes accurately and efficiently Support all kitchen operations, including dishwashing and cleaning Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Requirements: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-oriented attitude Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential Must be comfortable with both baking and cleaning tasks Valid ServSafe certification required Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a plus Compensation: Starting at $19/hour + tips (negotiable based on experience) Shifts Available: 5:00 to 9am 9:00am to 1:00pm 1:00pm to 6pm 5:00am to 1:30pm. 10:00am to 6:30pm To Apply: Send your resume and a short introduction to .Tell us why you’re interested in working in a bakery.
