This role involves working in a perioperative setting, providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia across various specialties including general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, orthopedics, vascular, endoscopy, and interventional radiology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position offers flexible, rotating shifts with on-call responsibilities.Job Details:Location: Everett, MassachusettsShift Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with varied typical shift hours (e.g., 6:30 AM5:00 PM, 7:00 AM5:30 PM, 7:30 AM6:00 PM, or 8:30 AM7:00 PM). On-call shifts are approximately every 4-5 weeks, with specific shifts from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM and on-call from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekend on-call availability from Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM.Required Qualifications: Valid and current Massachusetts registered nurse license (active or conditional); American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre-Operative (Pre Op) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU); experience documenting travel assignments preferred; recent references from Charge Nurse, Manager, or Supervisor in Pre Op/PACU; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred; valid drivers license matching the demographics; successful verification of Massachusetts RN license within the last 7 days.Preferred Qualifications: Charge capability is highly preferred; experience with PACU medications such as pressors (neos or similar); the ability to work every other major holiday; flu vaccination during flu season.Additional Information: Must meet vaccination requirements; the role involves supporting multiple procedural areas including vascular procedures, endoscopy, andIR patient recovery; willingness to float between Pre Op and PACU is required; documentation of travel experience may be considered.Float: Float rotation may be required.Benefits:The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include:Private housing or generous housing allowanceComprehensive health insurance with prescription coverageDependent health insurance with prescription coverageCompetitive salariesReferral bonusesTravel reimbursement401(k) retirement planDirect deposit/free checkingUnlimited free CE creditsCross Country Job ID #1265807.
