Partners with Operations to develop and sustain procedures, work instructions, and forms that support business objectives and regulatory requirements. The role ensures that all quality system documentation is accurate, current, and readily available for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews, supporting continuous improvement and adherence to corporate quality standards and regulatory requirements.\r\nJob Duties and Responsibilities Provide support in the implementation, administration, and enforcement of corporate quality policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the facility HACCP program.\r\nEnsure the facility\\'s product recall program remains effective and compliant with DFA, FDA, customer, and regulatory requirements.\r\nSupport new product launches by implementing customer specifications, R&D requirements, and associated quality documentation.\r\nMaintain and administer the facility\\'s Document Control System to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with quality standards.\r\nParticipate in quarterly Quality Systems audits and monthly GMP and Food Safety audits.\r\nServe as a member of the Food Defense and Crisis Management Teams and support related initiatives.\r\nProvide support for Low Acid Canned Food (LACF) record reviews, master batch distribution, and finished product release activities as required.\r\nPerform special projects and quality improvement initiatives as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.\r\nSupport customer documentation requests and assist in the implementation, tracking, and verification of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, customer feedback, or internal assessments.\r\nAssist in the development and delivery of training materials and programs to support employee knowledge, compliance, and operational effectiveness.\r\nParticipate in internal and external audits of food safety and quality systems, including SQF, HACCP, GMP, and other applicable programs.\r\nMaintain and monitor the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with SQF certification requirements and company standards.\r\nParticipate in monthly internal GMP inspections and support ongoing food safety and quality improvement efforts.\r\nDrive key performance indicators within assigned areas of responsibility and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and business objectives.\r\nPromote effective communication across all levels of the organization to ensure stakeholders are informed and able to respond appropriately to quality, food safety, and regulatory matters.\r\nPerform all duties in accordance with DFA policies, GMP requirements, food safety standards, quality systems, sanitation programs, and applicable regulatory requirements.\r\nAdhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and practices while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.\r\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\r\nRequirements Education and Experience\r\nHigh School Diploma Required\r\nCollege Degree preferred\r\n3-5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment working with QA/Quality Systems preferred\r\nNecessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\r\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact well with people at multiple levels of the organization and/or with external customers in business and technical fields\r\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and functions\r\nMust be a self-starter, able to organize, prioritize as well as be able to work in a fast-paced environment\r\nMust be confident and communicate well to present concepts and ideas to Operations team members\r\nMust have strong problem-solving skills\r\nMust have advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Access and Power Point\r\nMust be able to read, write and speak English\r\nLicensing and Certification\r\nHolding a certification from a certified FDA Better Process School would be a plus.
