Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.\nPosition, align, and adjust parts for accurate fit and assembly.\nAttach name plates and mark identifying information on parts.\nMeasure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers. Inspect parts for surface defects.\nAlign, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.\nVerify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.\nRead and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.\nExplain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.\nClean working areas and parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
