Senior Financial Analyst
Tampa Maid Foods is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who wants to be more than a spreadsheet builder. This is a true finance business partner role focused on cost transparency, materials pricing, indirect spend, and margin insight.If you enjoy digging into cost behavior, building structure where there isn’t clarity, and influencing decisions with data, this role is for you.Responsibilities:Business Partnering & InfluencePartner closely with Operations, Procurement, and FinanceClearly frame cost drivers, risks, and trade-offsProactively identify trends, exposures, and opportunitiesServe as a trusted advisor on cost behavior and margin impactCost Transparency & ControlsBuild visibility around materials pricing and indirect spendStrengthen cost controls and governanceEnsure integrity of cost flow from raw materials to finished goodsIdentify and close gaps in cost data and processesFinished Goods Cost & Margin InsightAnalyze how input cost changes impact finished goods and marginsEvaluate margin expansion or degradationDeliver forward-looking and scenario-based analysisSupport sourcing, operational, and market-driven decisionsReporting & CommunicationDevelop intuitive cost and margin reportingSimplify complex cost structures into decision-ready insightsImprove how cost information is presented and consumedMonth-End SupportAssist with close activitiesSupport cost-related variance explanationsEnsure accuracy and completeness in reportingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field5+ years of financial analysis, cost analysis, or operational finance experiencePreferred:Food manufacturing experienceERP system exposurePower BI or similar data visualization toolsThis role is ideal for someone who wants visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape how cost information drives decisions across the organization.
