Building Maintenance Associate

MSD is looking for a part-time Building Maintenance Associate to join our team! The Building Maintenance Associate will be responsible for the clean-up and beautification of the MSD Corporate Office and Shop/Lab. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external customer 100% of the time. Key Job Duties Sweep shop and lab floors and debris removal Ensure fire extinguishers are accessible Store material and equipment for jobs in warehouse/shop/lab/etc. Deliver items to and from the warehouse when needed Clean lenses and replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed Move boxes to and from storage area (50lbs) Check delivery shelves daily Police parking lot for trash, debris, and stones, etc. Clean entrance of snow and ice as needed Candidate Requirements: Comply with all company Safety Requirements as outlined in the handbook and attend all required safety meetings Regular attendance is an essential function of the job Able to clearly communicate in written and verbal English Ability to comprehend and interpret complex written and/or verbal instructions, manuals, etc. Unencumbered US Driver’s license US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) 1-3 years experience with janitorial and grounds keeping Benefits: FREE Training and Education PTO We value our employees and are committed to doing everything possible to ensure your continued growth and opportunities!
