MMMO Office Renovation, Heat Mitigation PH 3, and HVAC Renewal\nDetailed Description of Responsibilities:\nFacilitate mechanical building system startups & commissioning activities.\nProvide subject matter expert assistance in review of product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings and specifications, & contractor generated RFls.\nExtensive knowledge of safety procedures, safe work practices, and OSHA requirements for mechanical installations including but not limited to Lock-Out, Electrical Safe Work Practices, Control of Hazardous Energy, & arc flash safety.\nPossess extensive knowledge of prevailing building codes and professional industry standards (including but not limited to: IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, FM)\nWork with building construction contractors and equipment vendors to coordinate equipment factory testing, delivery, installation, commissioning & handover to end users.\nCoordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, & manufacturing shops.\nConduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis\nSupport construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.\nConduct inspections and observations of mechanical building systems for compliance with project specifications, quality standards, & applicable codes.\nOversee work of mechanical contractors for adherence to project delivery methods, schedule milestone targets, & coordination with other groups.\nPrepare field engineering status reports of work progress and schedule to Project Managers.\nProvide input and feedback to improve project technical specifications and standards.\nAbility to effectively communicate technical matters in written & verbal formats.\nAbility to multi-task, manage time, & prioritize project commitments based on established deadlines and project milestones.\nRequirements:\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years in construction management.\nExperience in design criteria development for mechanical systems.\nAutomotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.\n5+ years in mechanical design field.\nGood organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.\nProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project\nAdditional Desired Qualifications:\nBluebeam, AutoCAD\nJob Types: Full-time, Contract\nPay: Up to $47.00 per hour\nExpected hours: 40 per
