As a frontline worker, they ensure the Center’s safety, integrity, and security at all times. They also document daily activities and perform administrative tasks that support overall program operations.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nObserve all individuals entering and exiting the building\nDocument, report, and communicate all incidents and daily activities during the shift\nMaintain a safe, secure, responsive, inclusive, and non‑discriminatory environment for clients\nAnswer phone calls, take messages, and direct callers appropriately\nFacilitate medication observation in accordance with policy and procedure\nSupport facility, dormitory, and individual searches for alcohol, drugs, paraphernalia, contraband, and program violations\nEnforce client house rules, procedures, and protocols\nDistribute sorted client mail\nConduct regular security and wellness checks throughout the facility and shift\nAssist clinical staff in administering urine analysis tests and breathalyzer screenings\nSupport emergency disaster responses and emergency drills\nRespond to unusual incidents and notify required personnel\nRespond to assistance requests from other Center departments\nAssist with client admissions and exits\nOther related duties as required\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)\nExperience supporting individuals with substance use disorders, mental illness, and related barriers\nExperience with Microsoft programs\nFirst Aid and CPR certification (within first fourteen days of employment – company provided)\nTuberculosis clearance (within the first seven days of employment – company provided)\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nBilingual in Spanish (preferred)\nIntegrity in handling sensitive and confidential information\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask\nAbility to work with a highly diverse population\nKnowledge of co‑occurring disorders and trauma‑informed practices\nEQUIPMENT USED:\nModern Office Equipment and Relevant Software\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)\nADA Statement\nQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
