The Fulfillment and returns Specialist is responsible for the packing and presentation of all orders including accurate scanning and vetting processes of Equipment. Responsibilities include the management of physical inventory, management systems, database management, forecasting, requisitioning of internal and external controls and auditing with the objective of maximizing record accuracy and traceability.Our Leadership PrinciplesGrowth Mindset: We set high standards, embrace failure, and are open to change.Be Customer-Centered: We focus on the end-to-end customer experience.Take Ownership & Dig Deeper: We are proactive, use data, and avoid shortcuts.Think Like a Start-Up: We move fast, stay flexible, and celebrate every win.Be Humble & Respectful: We assume positive intent, listen actively, and support one another.What You'll DoDepartment OperationsOversee the daily workflow of all returned equipment and incoming ordersEnsure timely and accurate check-in of camera, lens, lighting, grip, and accessory equipmentPrioritize equipment processing based on upcoming prep schedules and operational demandsMaintain organization and cleanliness of the returns areaComplete other various tasks as assigned by the Operations ManagerEquipment Inspection & InventoryVerify returned gear against rental orders and manifestsIdentify missing, damaged, or non-functional equipmentDocument equipment condition issues, shortages, and discrepanciesCoordinate damaged equipment routing to QC, repair vendors, or internal service teamsEnsure inventory status is updated accurately within the rental software systemTeam LeadershipSupervise and support Returns Technicians and department staffAssist with training on proper check-in procedures, equipment handling, and documentation standardsMonitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and departmental accountabilityFoster a positive, team-oriented work environmentCommunication & CoordinationCommunicate closely with:Camera Prep DepartmentQC / Quality ControlShipping & LogisticsOperations ManagementSales & Client ServicesEscalate critical issues that may impact upcoming rentals or customer satisfactionAssist in resolving equipment discrepancies and operational conflictsProcess ImprovementIdentify recurring operational and inventory issues and recommend workflow improvementsHelp develop standardized procedures for returns processing and equipment handlingSupport initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experienceWhat Will Help You ThrivePrevious experience in a camera rental house, production environment, or technical equipment operationStrong understanding of cinema camera systems, lenses, accessories, and production workflowsLeadership or supervisory experience preferredExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityPreferred ExperienceAccuracy of equipment check-insReduction in missing gear incidentsReturn processing turnaround timeInventory accuracyDamage reporting consistencyDepartment productivity and workflow efficiencyReady to Join Our Team of Creators?
