This individual will play a key role in designing, integrating, and optimizing robotic systems that improve production efficiency, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial robotics, experience leading Automation Projects, and enjoys working cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and new equipment installations.What You’ll DoDesign, program, and troubleshoot industrial robots, cobots, and automated toolingLead and support integration of new robotic cells, conveyors, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and machine vision systemsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related downtimePartner with Plant Engineering and Operations teams to improve cycle time, throughput, and product qualityCreate and maintain technical documentation including robot programs, schematics, PM plans, and standardsTrain maintenance and production teams on robot operation, troubleshooting, and safety proceduresCollaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams on automation upgradesEnsure systems comply with OSHA, MIOSHA, and internal safety standardsRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics(FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, etc.)Strong experience with robot programming, troubleshooting, and system integrationWorking knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and industrial automation controlsAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematicsExperience using CAD softwareStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)Nice to HaveExposure to Industry 4.0, smart factory initiatives, or manufacturing data collectionExperience supporting new equipment launches or automation retrofitsAutomotive or high-volume manufacturing experienceExperience owning & driving automation projectsAbout Us:At Brooksource, relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
