ERP BUSINESS ANALYST / DEVELOPER
DescriptionThe Epicor Business Analyst/Developer will play a crucial role in supporting our Epicor ERP system. This position will involve analyzing business requirements, developing solutions, and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Epicor ERP, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping others.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirementsAnalyze existing processes and recommend improvements using Epicor ERPCreate detailed functional specifications and process documentationDevelopment:Develop and customize Epicor solutions, including reports, dashboards, and workflowsUtilize Epicor’s customization tools (e.g., Application Studio, BPM, dashboards, and custom code) to enhance system functionalityPerform system testing and validation to ensure quality deliverablesHelp Desk Support:Provide first-level technical support for Epicor ERP usersTroubleshoot and resolve system issues and user inquiries efficientlyMaintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles for root cause analysis of systemic issuesTraining and Support:Assist in developing training materials and conducting user training sessionsSupport end-users in the effective use of the Epicor system, promoting best practicesContinuous Improvement:Stay updated on Epicor enhancements and industry trendsParticipate in system upgrades and improvements to optimize functionalityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fieldProven experience with Epicor ERP, preferably in a similar roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in SQL and experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Epicor Report Designer)Proficiency in Epicor’s (Kinetic) customization environment (e.g. Application Studio)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a help desk or technical support role is a plusPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with manufacturing or distribution processesKnowledge of Epicor modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Production) is a plusExperience with integrations and API usageValcor's strength and reputation are the result of delivering cutting-edge, reliable products to customers with unique and hard-to-handle applications.
