Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree in a related clinical laboratory field as required by the client facility.Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.In licensure states, appropriate state Laboratory Licensure for Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist as applicable to the assignment location.At least 6 months of current hospital acute care Medical Technologist (Med Tech/CLS/MLS) experience as required by the client.BLS certification required.Experience with specimen processing, receipt and accessioning using Meditech preferred.Experience using Mobilab equipment preferred.Apply now and one of our recruiters will reach out with the details to see if this is the right fit for you.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: HospitalShift Name: NightsShift Hours: 2030-0700 (10-hour night shift)Schedule Pattern: 7-on, 7-off rotationUnit: Laboratory / Lab ServicesTypical unit environment: Level 1 trauma center, high-volume hospital laboratory with approximately 2 laboratory assistants on night shift.Common procedures: Venipuncture, specimen processing, specimen receipt and accessioning utilizing Meditech.Floating: Candidates should be prepared to work within hospital system needs and may occasionally float to other campus units as required by the client.Location HighlightsDenver, CO offers a mix of urban and outdoor lifestyle with easy access to regional attractions.
