Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across the greater Seattle Metro area. This is an onsite, contract‑to‑hire opportunity supporting large, high‑profile projects.Pay – $80,000 – $90,000 annually (depending on experience, tenure, and project experience)Location – Seattle, WA (Onsite at project locations including Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, and surrounding areas)Schedule – Standard Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)Responsibilities• Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of commercial construction projects• Support project financial responsibilities and cost tracking• Participate in preconstruction services and project start‑up• Assist with project scheduling and coordination• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs• Process and manage submittals and approvals• Assist with change orders and documentation• Coordinate material deliveries and maintain schedules• Support project administration and close‑out procedures• Promote strong customer relations• Support company culture, leadership, and safety initiativesQualification Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related engineering field• 1+ year of experience with a general contractor in commercial construction• Experience performing RFIs, submittals, and close‑out procedures• Familiarity with project coordination, scheduling, and construction documentation• Ability to work onsite at active construction projects in the greater Seattle Metro areaDisqualifiers• No commercial construction experience• No experience with RFIs or submittals• Inability to commute to onsite project locationsEmployee Value Proposition• Opportunity to support large commercial projects with name‑brand clients• Contract‑to‑hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement• Collaborative project teams with strong mentorship• Assigned peer mentor upon hire to assist with onboarding• Team‑building events including local outings and group activitiesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $8 $90000.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
