Clinical Solutions Consultant - Ocular Biologics
The Clinical Solutions Consultant – Ocular Biologics is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding clinical adoption of Cellution Biologics' regenerative ocular product portfolio within an assigned territory. This role focuses on executing territory strategies that increase market share by supporting existing customers while identifying and developing new opportunities across ophthalmology and optometry physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), hospitals, and academic medical centers. The Clinical Solutions Consultant serves as the primary commercial contact for eye care providers within the territory, delivering disease-state education, clinical product knowledge, and consultative support that enables physicians to integrate regenerative biologic technologies into patient care. Success in this role requires a highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with strong clinical curiosity, disciplined territory management skills, and a proven ability to consistently exceed sales objectives. The Clinical Solutions Consultant works closely with the Regional Sales Director, Practice Integration Manager, marketing, medical affairs, reimbursement, and commercial operations teams to accelerate physician adoption, expand product utilization, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory Sales Execution
Achieve or exceed territory sales goals and performance objectives as defined by the company's commercial strategy and sales quota plan.
Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans designed to expand market share and drive sustainable long-term revenue growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
Promote and sell Cellution Biologics' ocular biologic products to ophthalmologists, optometrists, surgical centers, hospitals, and academic medical institutions.
Conduct consistent and highly productive customer engagement activities to maximize physician awareness, product trial, and ongoing utilization.
Deliver compelling product and disease-state education presentations to physicians, clinical staff, and practice decision makers.
Account Development & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, surgeons, practice administrators, and clinical staff.
Develop strategic account plans that support long-term customer engagement and product adoption.
Understand the clinical and operational workflows within ophthalmology and optometry practices and align product positioning to support improved patient outcomes.
Identify key decision makers and influencers within each account and develop strategies that support successful product integration.
Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive and productive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Clinical & Product Education
Demonstrate strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, disease states, regenerative biologic therapies, and clinical applications relevant to Cellution Biologics' product portfolio.
Educate physicians and clinical teams on product indications, clinical benefits, and appropriate utilization.
Partner with the Practice Integration Manager to support protocol implementation and workflow optimization within customer practices.
Stay informed on emerging research, competitive products, and evolving market dynamics within ophthalmology and regenerative medicine.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Regional Sales Directors, Practice Integration Managers, marketing, reimbursement specialists, medical affairs, and sales operations to support successful territory execution.
Provide valuable field intelligence regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
Collaborate with marketing and commercial leadership to support product launches, educational initiatives, and market development programs.
Participate in national and regional sales meetings, training programs, and industry conferences.
Sales Operations & Business Management
Maintain accurate and timely reporting of all customer interactions and sales activities within the company's CRM system.
Manage territory budgets and travel expenses responsibly and within company guidelines.
Analyze territory performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to maximize growth opportunities.
Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate strong ownership of territory performance and maintain accountability for results.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field required.
Minimum 5-10 years of outside sales experience in medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, ophthalmology, or regenerative medicine markets.
Experience selling into ophthalmology or optometry practices strongly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory sales goals.
Experience calling on physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, and academic medical centers preferred.
Experience supporting new product launches or market development initiatives preferred.Knowledge of ophthalmic clinical workflows and physician decision-making processes preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a field-based role operating within an assigned U.S. sales territory.
The position requires frequent engagement with physicians, healthcare providers, and internal commercial teams.
70–90% travel required, including customer visits, industry conferences, national sales meetings, and travel to corporate headquarters. Travel mainly focused on individual territory.
Valid driver's license required.
