The role focuses on driving occupancy by overseeing leasing activity, managing team performance, and guiding prospects through the leasing process successfully. The supervisor coaches team members, handles application escalations, monitors key leasing metrics, conducts audits, supports onboarding and training, maintains compliance with housing regulations, and provides regular updates to the Leasing Manager.Skills & CompetenciesBachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, management, or communications is preferred.2+ years of multi-family and/or single-family rental home experience.2+ years of leasing experience.Experience supervising, leading, and motivating team members.Knowledge of fair housing and local real estate laws.Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced preferred.Working knowledge of MRI, Yardi, OneSite, and Salesforce.Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.Detail oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work in a deadline-oriented environment and multitask.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a high-volume, data entry and processing environment.Essential Job FunctionsLead daily leasing operations, managing team performance through weekly meetings, one-on-ones with the Leasing Manager, and audits to maintain industry-leading metrics.Coach and develop leasing team members through onboarding, ongoing training, and customized modules; evaluate effectiveness through feedback and continuous improvement.Collaborate with the Leasing Manager and local market leaders to streamline procedures, optimize occupancy rates, and resolve operational issues.Serve as an escalation point for applicant issues and provide coverage for Leasing Specialists during PTO.Maintain a strong working knowledge of the end-to-end leasing process and communicate it clearly to prospects and team members.Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.Represent Maymont Homes professionally and consistently with company customer service values.Perform other duties as assigned.Key Metrics & ResponsibilitiesDrive team performance according to company occupancy goals.Maintain 24–48 hour response time for prospect communication.Ensure daily team accountability.Maintain team quality assurance call scores.Manage days on market (DOM) in line with occupancy goals.Effective onboarding and training support to increase employee retention.BenefitsBacked by Brookfield, Maymont offers a 5% 401(k) match, wellness credits that reduce healthcare costs, and up to 160 hours of PTO annually for full-time employees.
