Test Technician lll, 3rd Shift (Onsite)

Responsibilities Perform tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications. Set up testing apparatus and conduct quality assurance/control tests of raw materials, parts, components, finished items, packaging, equipment, and systems. Perform final tests on sub-assemblies or completed units as necessary. Execute strength testing, thermal testing, pyrometry, and metallurgical testing. Operate test stands and configure test equipment for special tests. Interpret and record test results. Recognize and isolate test equipment failures. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level. Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics. Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass-down, engineering, maintenance). Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components. Shift & Training 3rd Shift: 8:00pm – 6:00am, Sunday to Wednesday. Training on 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm for up to 60 days. Work Environment & Physical Demands May need weekend and holiday support. Protections: wear static-control and personal protective equipment. Physical demands: distinguishing colors, bending, stooping, reaching, turning; using hands for extended periods; standing for 2-hour increments; lifting 25pounds. Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 2years of relevant experience. Experience reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings. Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes. We Prefer Electrical technician certification. Associate's degree in Electronics. Component-level troubleshooting experience. 3–5years of relevant experience. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
