Extension is seeking a Purchasing Agent for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Germantown, WI.About Our ClientEstablished, 40-person manufacturing company with nearly 50 years of successSpecializes in industrial heat transfer and waste heat recovery equipmentStrong reputation with long-term partnerships in the industryStable environment with no history of layoffsTight-knit team with direct visibility to leadershipKey Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesPartner with production leadership to support material and component needsConvert requisitions into purchase orders with accurate pricing and timelinesSource, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, including large material bidsMaintain inventory levels and support ERP/barcode systemsCoordinate freight, crating, and shipping logisticsSet up and manage blanket orders for recurring materialsDesired Skills & Qualifications5–10+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience within manufacturingExperience supporting production schedules with raw material sourcingStrong vendor management and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with BOMs, ERP systems, and inventory processesAbility to manage logistics and ensure on-time deliverySalary Information$75,000 – $85,000/yearWe’re looking forward to connecting with you and are excited to help you make your next career move!
