updating plugins.\r\nThis position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).\r\nThe candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.\r\nExperience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.\r\nAlso, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.\r\nSkills:\r\nExtensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de facto standard plugins\r\nExperience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:\r\nGood understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery\r\nKnowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.\r\nCustomizing WordPress to support specific functionality\r\nCreation of custom post types.\r\nCreation of plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards.\r\nCreation of clean, logical, well documented and reusable code.\r\nTheme/template integration.\r\nKnowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) required.\r\nFamiliar with AWS LAMP Stack Configuration\r\nExperience creating multilingual websites.\r\nDeveloping wire-frame mock-ups to illustrate possible solutions\r\nGood understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.\r\nExperience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications\r\nUse of AJAX / Prototype / script.aculo.us an advantage.\r\nExperience designing and developing responsive design websites\r\nComfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.\r\nAbility to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers\r\nAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wire-frames into working HTML pages\r\nKnowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)\r\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)\r\nKnowledge of different PHP frameworks, libraries, or any other technology relevant to WordPress Multisite\r\nStrong understanding of PHP back-end development.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nEstablishing and guiding the website's architecture\r\nEnsuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS\r\nHelping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and/or plugin.\r\nBuild websites, prototypes and applications using the latest front-end and back-end technologies\r\nProviding timely resolution to reported problems with existing websites.\r\nWorking closely with both the design and project resources to achieve the best possible results in web projects from conception right through to delivery.\r\nEnsuring all work adheres to current industry best practice.\r\nSelf-motivated, goal
