This role requires a highly skilled, customer-facing professional with strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and networking systems. You will serve as a subject matter expert and ensure successful deployments in fast-paced, high-demand environments. Responsible for developing and managing complex projects across multiple locations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nSystem Installation & Integration:\nLead installation, setup, and configuration of advanced systems such as machine vision tunnels, RFID systems, conveyors, and robotics.\nTechnical Leadership:\nProvide expert guidance on installation best practices, system calibration, and troubleshooting.\nMentor and train junior technicians and customer teams on system operation and maintenance.\nCustomer Engagement:\nAct as the primary technical contact during installations, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.\nConduct site assessments to verify infrastructure readiness (power, networking, environmental conditions).\nTroubleshooting & Support:\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues during and after installation.\nPerform preventive maintenance and create detailed service reports.\nDocumentation & Compliance:\nDevelop and maintain installation guides, wiring diagrams, and calibration reports.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards (Lockout-Tagout, Hazmat, Industrial Safety).\n\nQualifications\nEducation + Experience + Key Traits:\nTechnical four-year degree, but experience in lieu of degree will be considered.\n5+ years in field service or installation roles, with advanced experience in: Machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Basler, Matrox, Teledyne/FLIR).\nTime management and ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask.\nProblem-solving and decision making.\nProactivity and self-direction.\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.\nThis list is not exhaustive or complete. While it represents the primary job functions, many related skills will need to be provided at various times based on the specifics of the project.\nTravel may be required for company events, training, and customer visits.\n\nTYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS:\nSERVICE DELIVERY: Sustained, measured excellence in project & process delivery.\nCOST TO SERVE: Sustained, measured excellence in delivery efficiency with expected continuous improvement.\nINNOVATION: Step changed delivery in safety, quality, and/or cost.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nPrimary language used in daily operations is English.
