Made Possible.\nDie Cutting Operator\n\nMISSION / SUMMARY:\nSets up and operates machine to cut folding cartons by performing the following duties.\nJOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.\n\nReview job ticket.\nConducts pre-make ready as required.\nSetting-up die, counter plates, stripping section and press.\nPulling front trim as required.\nClean counter plates and strip down dies that are locked up.\nClean area around press.\nPerform maintenance as required.\nDeliver cut cartons to finishing department.\n\nBACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\n1-3 years related experience and/or training\n\nSKILLS:\nBasic Skills:\nActive Learning\nActive Listening\nCritical Thinking\nMathematics\nMonitoring Plant Performance\nReading Comprehension\nWriting\nComplex Problem Solving\n\nSCHEDULE DEMANDS:\n\nMust be able to work 8 hour shifts plus overtime as required.\nEmployee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nStanding: 34-66% of time\nWalking: 34-66% of time\nPushing/Pulling: Frequently with a force of 10 lbs. Occasionally with a force of 50 lbs. Rarely with a force of 10 lbs.\nLifting: Frequently with a force of 10 lbs. Occasionally with a force of 50 lbs.
