SoarTech has decades of experience in AI research, including major DARPA autonomy programs, and develops explainable, adaptive technologies that enhance human judgment and accelerate mission readiness.\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Unity Developer with a strong background in interactive multimedia design to support the development of immersive, user-centered applications. This role focuses on building high-quality interactive experiences leveraging Unity for training, simulation, visualization, and multimedia-rich applications. The ideal candidate blends technical proficiency with design sensibility and can collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive applications using the Unity engine.\nImplement engaging multimedia experiences incorporating 3D assets, animation, audio, video, and user interaction.\nCollaborate with designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional interactive solutions.\nOptimize performance, usability, and visual fidelity across target platforms (desktop, mobile, web, XR, as applicable).\nIntegrate UI/UX designs, ensuring intuitive navigation and user engagement.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Unity applications.\nContribute to technical documentation, version control, and development best practices.\nStay current with Unity updates, industry trends, and emerging interactive technologies.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of professional experience developing applications in Unity.\nProficiency in C# and Unity scripting.\nExperience with interactive multimedia elements, including animation, audio, video, and UI systems.\nStrong understanding of 3D environments, physics, lighting, and asset pipelines.\nExperience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills (Not Required):\nExperience with training, simulation, serious games, or instructional media.\nFamiliarity with XR development (VR/AR/MR) using Unity.\nKnowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git).\nExposure to government, defense, or enterprise-scale development environments.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nClearance Requirements\nSome positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
