Position Overview
We are seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric patients. This unique opportunity allows physicians to practice across inpatient and outpatient environments while engaging in innovative clinical research and playing an active role in our teaching fellowship program, contributing to mentorship, education, and the development of future leaders in pediatric pulmonology.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care for pediatric respiratory conditions including Cystic Fibrosis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, Severe Asthma, and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia
Deliver care across inpatient coverage and outpatient clinic settings
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and academic activities
Mentor fellows, mid-level providers, and trainees as appropriate
Engage in ongoing professional development and education
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of Pediatric residency training
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
California medical license (or eligibility)
DEA registration
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaborative mindset
Interest or experience in research, education, or academic medicine preferred
