WFS operates several different business lines, providing both transportation and warehousing services to a variety of customers across the consumer and industrial sectors. In the past 3 years, WFS has tripled in revenue, and WFS continues to expand. WFS is seeking an Operations Manager to facilitate future growth. About operation manager Position: The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily warehouse operation and Key performance index reports of our clients in Savannah, GA. Primary duties will include setting objectives, goals, strategies, measures, and plan new and innovative strategies necessary to consistently meet our customer's expectations. Other responsibilities include leading the development of a high-performance work environment and budget activities, including full P&L responsibility, process management, customer relations, and continued process improvement efforts. Location: Savannah, GAPosition Type: Permanent position.Travel: ~5% Monthly travel required (domestic). Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and monitor internal and external KPIs and reporting for all warehouse locations.KPI measurement implementation including labor control, inbound / outbound metrics, and inventory.Manages business unit profitability and report performance versus budget objectives and perform analysis of financial results to drive organization action plans (budgets, P&Ls, and quarterly / annual inventory reporting).Provide strategic leadership and direction on overall warehouse operations to drive business performance.Develop, lead, and drive continued process improvement and safety performance efforts, including program awareness and metric improvements, while operating within guidelines and regulations (TAPA, AIB, OSHA, etc.).Mentor and develop junior leadership within the organization to establish culture of effective problem-solving based on root cause analysis to improve overall performance.Oversee and coach on-site General Managers located at facilities around the country to drive operational efficiency.Cultivate strong client business relations and manage customer objectives by assessing complex situations, identifying root causes, and developing solution-based strategies that improves customer satisfaction and retention.Support sales efforts to drive business unit growth, onboard new accounts, contract renewals, and pricing.Travel to warehouse locations monthly to support deliverables, collaborate with engineering on layout / product placement, and ensure physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained. The Right Person Would Have: 5+ years of Warehouse Operations experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL).Experience with Synapse is highly preferred.Experience with labor / workforce management and warehouse management systems (i.e. CargoWise One, Mintsoft etc.).High proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. about customer service representative position:The ideal candidates should be bilingual in Mandarin and English, as a significant portion of our client and carrier communication requires fluency in both languages.
