This role supports plant safety, product quality, manufacturing/prototype order on-time delivery, and continuous improvement projects within their assigned area of responsibility. The role requires strong collaboration and organizational skills.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\nCompletion of 1st build and New Product Introduction in accordance with customer requirements\nSet up and operate equipment such as molding/potting equipment, solder stations, electronic or pneumatic crimp tooling, and test equipment, as necessary for prototype constructions, product development and process/productivity improvements.\nUnderstand and interpret product/work order requirements, product inspection techniques and test procedures\nReview of customer data packets: drawings, parts lists, specifications, and manufacturing standards\nSupport production operators through clarification and demonstration of documentation, process, and procedures\nObserve production runs for compliance with proper methods and procedures.\nParticipate in value stream team, productivity, product quality, safety, and waste meetings/projects\nCompile, analyze, and summarize process data\nCreation of Standard Work documentation to support production\nInvolvement in continuous improvement exercises and projects to meet metric expectations\nOther duties may be assigned\nSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
