This is a full-time, Monday-Friday in-office position offering opportunities for professional growth and advancement. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a vital role in our organization's mission to provide unparalleled service and valued companionship to our patients.Responsibilities:Contact patients to educate them about the Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) and Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP) ProgramProcess patient referrals, including demographic information, clinical documentation, and financial reimbursement detailsVerify eligibility and benefits for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Managed Care insurance plans through online portals and direct communication with insurance providersCoordinate with Managed Care representatives to confirm home care coverage eligibility and obtain initial evaluation authorizationsAssist patient with re-enrollment, recertification, authorization, and vendor changesAccurately input information into internal systems to ensure timely reimbursementMaintain data entry of required documents and patient clinical recordsReport to the Director of Business Development and IntakeQualifications:Bilingual candidates: English and Spanish preferredExperience using HHA Exchange software requiredExperience working and navigating multiple software systemsProficient in customer service, communication, and follow-up skillsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailMinimum of 1 year of home care experience requiredExperience verifying Health InsurancesFamiliarity with Private Duty Nursing (PDN) and/or NHTD/TBI a plusCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary with incentives and bonus opportunitiesMedical insurancePaid Time Off (PTO), including holidays, vacation, sick, and personal days401(k) retirement planClarity Benefit CardWhat We Offer:A dynamic and supportive work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and advancementA chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patientsIf you are a motivated and results-driven individual looking to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care, please apply to this Intake Specialist role today!Apply NowNote: Salary range is $45,000 - $50,000 annually.
