A summary of these offerings, which are available to active, full-time and part-time employees who work at least 30 hours per week, can be foundhere.Responsibilities\r\nPerforms quality CT exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols.\r\nProvides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, radiation protection, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures.\r\nMaintains appropriate documentation of patient records especially in the Radiology Information\r\nSystem and PACS (computer systems) to meet operating standards, corporate compliance practices, and/or regulatory and accreditation requirements.\r\nGenerates appropriate imaging from CT workstation and presents appropriate filming of CT scans to the radiologist.\r\nPerforms the duties of a staff technologist while providing direct and indirect clinical supervision and education of students in the clinical setting.\r\nCollaborates and participates in department related projects and/or teams focused on improvement opportunities as needed.\r\nPerforms other related operational duties as needed including, but not limited to, transporting patients, office/clerical functions, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining supplies in rooms, and cleaning CT equipment.Education/Accredited Programs\r\nSuccessful completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.\r\nMinimum of one year radiologic technologist experience with CT responsibilities preferred.Licenses/Certifications/Registrations\r\nNew York State Radiologic Technologist License\r\nAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)\r\nCT certified or ARRT registry eligible.
