Back to back sessions same day, 1 hour each.\n\nNO Online Tutoring for these students.\n\nTutoring to take place In-person in the student's Fairfield home. Daytime/weekday tutoring preferred anytime between 9:00 am - noon with flexibility.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be able to provide educational and motivational support with engagement skills using kindness, care and patience.\n\nOne-on-one or small group tutoring experience preferred.\n\n*Responsibilities:*\n\n- Provide consistent tutoring using positive reinforcement and building self confidence.\n\n- Skilled tutoring, teaching using the student's own curriculum and real time assignments.\n\n- Ability to simplify concepts, help build better study habits and organizational skills if needed.\n\n- Help to improve academic performance and praise small victories with a step by step approach.\n\n- Assist students with guidance and understanding of course materials and meeting their individual academic needs.\n\n- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.\n\n*Qualifications:*\n\n- Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree.\n\n- Former teachers/subs are encouraged to apply. A teaching credential is not required.\n\n- Proficiency in Elementary Language Arts and working with special ed sstudents.\n\n- Minimum 2 years experience working with students.\n\n- Excellent communication skills with Parents, Students, Company Admin.\n\n- Simplify concepts and adaptability with different student earning styles.\n\n- Basic technical skills for reporting sessions on our tutor platform, writing concise student progress notes, and communicate in a timely manner.\n\n*Growth Mindset:*\n\n- Possess self-awareness, leadership skills using empathy and compassion.\n\n- Bring your solid skill set; teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching to each tutoring session with engaging confidence.\n\nJoin our team of dedicated educators and make a difference in the lives of students!
