You will work with Vehicle Engineering teams to analyze the performance of future vehicle designs and with Test Engineering teams to develop tests, correlate simulation models, and improve the predictive capability of Analysis Engineering at Tesla.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nDevelop finite element models for analysis and optimization for both crash and durability load cases; Perform linear and nonlinear analysis on a range of structural components from subsystems to complete vehicles\r\nPerform computer simulations related to vehicle frontal crash, side impact, roof strength, and HV battery systems on a vehicle level and verifying the results from the simulations comply with multiple various crash and durability safety requirements\r\nChallenge established CAE methods and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy\r\nUse CAE tools to optimize performance for the body, battery, closures, chassis, and other sub-systems\r\nGuide world-class engineering teams with design direction based on your analyses\r\nQuickly learn the tools necessary to execute, and modify, or create new tools as necessary\r\nWhat You'll Bring\r\nDetailed and applied knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Science and Numerical Methods in a product development environment\r\nDetailed and applied software experience in CAE pre-processors, solvers, and post-processors in a product development environment.
