You’ll also gain hands-on experience operating industrial equipment and performing quality control tasks that help keep our operation running safely and efficiently.\nThis role is often the first step toward becoming an Operator, Lead, or Supervisor.\nWhat You’ll Learn & Do\nUnload tank railcars and trucks safely and efficiently\nPerform quality control testing on materials\nOperate industrial equipment including:\nForklifts\nPallet jacks\nDrive switches\nLocomotive/track mobile engines\nOther material handling equipment\nFollow plant safety procedures and operational policies\nWork closely with team members to support daily operations\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for individuals who:\nTake initiative and work efficiently\nAre dependable and motivated to perform at a high level\nHave a strong attention to detail\nWork well as part of a team\nAre willing to learn new skills and responsibilities\nCan understand and follow rules, procedures, and safety policies\nHave basic reading, math, and communication skills\nMinimum Requirements\nAt least 18 years old\nValid driver’s license\nAbility to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided)\nAbility to:\nCarry 50 pounds\nLift up to 65 pounds\nPush/pull up to 120 pounds\nWork Environment\nThis is a hands-on industrial position. Candidates should be comfortable:\nWorking outdoors in all weather conditions\nWorking around grain dust and industrial equipment\nClimbing railcars, ladders, stairs up to 120 feet high\nWorking rotating 10–12 hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays\nTypical schedule:\nRotating swing shifts (example: 7a–7p / 7p–7a)\nMultiple consecutive workdays followed by multiple days off\nCareer Growth Opportunities\nMany of our Operators and Supervisors started in entry-level positions like this one.
