As a Lead Operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.\n\nWhy apply?\n\nCompetitive wages.\nOpportunities for overtime.\nCompany provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, disability, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWork closely with foreman to make certain everyone is aware of production schedules.\nKeep communication open with employees and managers.\nTrains new employees on various jobs.\nDiscuss daily production with Lead, Production Planner, or Plant Manager.\nEnforce safety and work rules.\nEnsure quality specifications are being met on ALL product produced\nEnsure that work areas are kept clean daily\nEnsure Lean principles are being utilized; 5S, TPM, & Quick Changeover are used to eliminate downtime.\nEnsure corrective action takes place on all non-conformances in accordance with Pre/Post Shift Audits as well as Monthly Leadership Audits.\nOther duties assigned.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe Require:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nGood organizational and math skills.\nExcellent verbal communication skills.\n1-2 years experience in a lead/supervisory role.\n\nAbout Us\n\nEach day brings new challenges at Contech, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
