McGill III '63 Visiting Assistant Professor of International Studies for academic years 2026-2028. This fellowship is a two-year appointment for a recent Ph.D. (within the past five years) who has either received a bachelor's degree or lived for a substantial period in Africa, Asia, or Latin America and the Caribbean. The International Studies Program offers six interdisciplinary undergraduate majors: Global Studies, African Studies, Asian Studies, Caribbean and Latin American Studies, Middle East Studies, and Russian and Eurasian Studies.The successful candidate will be expected to teach three classes per year, including "INTS 207: Global South" and deliver a public research lecture in the spring semester of the second year. At least one course per year should contribute to our Global Studies major by addressing a topic of transnational significance from an interdisciplinary perspective.Trinity is a highly selective, independent, nonsectarian liberal arts institution located in the capital city of Hartford, Connecticut.
