Job Description CVOR Surgical Tech Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CVOR Surgical Tech to join our team, supporting critical cardiovascular operating procedures. In this role, you will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and precision. Your expertise will directly impact the success of complex open-heart surgeries, making this a vital position for our healthcare team. Pay Package: $2,244 Weekly Shift: 6:30am - 5pm Required Skills Certification as a Surgical Tech (Certified Surgical Technologist) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, specifically with open-heart procedures Proficiency in cardiovascular operating room protocols and equipment usage Strong attention to detail and excellent technical skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team-oriented environment BLS certification (AHA BLS required) Nice to Have Skills Experience working with advanced cardiovascular surgical instruments and technology Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control procedures Preferred Education and Experience Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential At least 2 years of hands-on experience in CVOR or related surgical environments Other Requirements Must be certified as a Surgical Tech with open-heart experience Availability for on-call shifts during weekdays and weekends, including holidays if applicable Willingness to work flexible hours within the scheduled shift (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Why Choose Medical Edge?
