We are looking for a dedicated Therapy Technician like you to be a part of our team.\nJob Summary and Qualifications\nAs a Therapy Technician, you will assist the licensed Physical/Occupational Therapists and/or licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist Assistants in select phases of patient treatment. You will assist in maintaining a clean, safe and functional department compatible with optimum patient care.\nYou will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care.\nYou will treat patients in an appropriate manner according to their age, developmental age, educational needs, and family/guardian expectations as related to the patient’s diagnosis.\nYou will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished.\nYou will clean and maintain equipment, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.\nWhat qualifications you will need:\nExperience\nComputer skills – preferred\nPrevious experience in rehabilitation therapy – preferred\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nLicenses and Certifications\nBasic Life Support (BLS) as required by St. David’s Healthcare policy\nSt. David’s Surgical Hospital is a destination surgical facility located in north Austin,Texas.
