The administrator will also install and update Citrix farms, design and plan Citrix NetScalar environments, and develop the cloud infrastructure that the Citrix farms run on. In this role, the Citrix Engineer will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions. In addition, the Citrix Engineer will provide tiers I, II, and III support to Citrix XenDesktop (VDi) environments, including configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in both Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments while investigating hardware and software problems related to the Citrix infrastructure, and perform corrective actions.\nThis is a Hybrid role located in Miami, FL, or Los Angeles, CA.\nResponsibilities\nPerforms all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systems\nSupports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure\nMakes architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environments\nMaintenance, monitoring, upgrading, troubleshooting\nDaily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in Citrix\nAdministration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance, updates, and upgrades\nConfigures, deploys, monitors, and maintenance of VDI tasks\nFollowing vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configuration\nDraws upon concepts of tools, technologies, and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties\nHas technical knowledge and depth in maintaining MS Operating System\nPerforms other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office\nRequired Qualifications/Education and Experience\nMust have a valid Security+ Certification\nMust have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearance\nCertification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms\nMinimum 10 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments.\nMust have hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations, Citrix management tools like Director, and especially RCA preparation\nMust have hands-on experience in ITIL processes, Incident management and change management, Studio\nExperience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScaler\nExperience in Building and configuring Citrix Farms\nExperienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment\nWorking knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platforms\nMust have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher\nOSC Edge delivers a total rewards package that we know will attract, engage and retain top talent.
