Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate & Compliance

At FF, we're creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact.Your Role: Reporting to the General Counsel, as Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate & Compliance, you'll be a key legal leader driving strategic legal initiatives across Faraday Future's global operations. You'll collaborate with senior leadership, oversee outside counsel, and serve as a principal advisor on securities filings, governance, legal compliance, contract review and negotiation, and internal investigations.Responsibilities:Assist in the creation of a compliant legal system suitable for a public companyLead public company compliance requirements, SEC filingsManage government reporting on various compliance mattersResponsible for reviewing all contracts including supply chain contracts, consulting agreements, securities purchase agreements, NDAs, etc. Counsel company management on legal and ethical compliance laws, regulations, and governanceDevelop and implement a comprehensive program for legal and ethical compliance that meets all applicable legal requirements and industry standardsDevelop and implement training regimens for compliance and governance topicsManage other legal functions that support corporate internal operation including IP, labor and othersImplement and manage compliance policies, protocols, and trainingAudit company procedures, policies, and practices to identify potential risksInvestigate allegations of legal and ethical compliance violations Work seamlessly and collaboratively within the legal team and as a legal business partner to multiple internal business stakeholdersStrong personal ethics code and integrityBasic Qualifications:Education & LicensureJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state barExperienceMinimum 10 years of legal experience, including significant in-house and/or top-tier law firm experienceDemonstrated experience supporting public company compliance initiatives and corporate governance mattersStrong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including:Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)Supply chain and vendor agreementsConsulting and services agreementsTechnology transactionsJoint development agreementsUniversity research agreementsSecurities purchase agreementsExperience advising business stakeholders on intellectual property rights, strategic partnerships, and product development mattersProven experience counseling management and HR teams on labor and employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace investigations, accommodations, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolutionExperience conducting internal investigations and compliance audits while preserving legal privilegeExperience developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and employee training initiativesExperience supporting cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, and OperationsExperience in manufacturing, technology, life sciences, or other regulated industries is a MUSTLegal Knowledge & Technical ExpertiseStrong understanding of corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and public company legal requirementsKnowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws, including wage and hour compliance, accommodation, leave laws, anti-discrimination regulations, and workplace investigationsUnderstanding of intellectual property principles, technology transactions, and commercial contract risk managementKnowledge of compliance reporting obligations and regulatory requirementsAbility to identify legal, operational, and reputational risks and develop practical mitigation strategiesSkills & CompetenciesExcellent drafting, negotiation, and contract interpretation are a plusExperience managing SEC filings and regulatory reporting requirements, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and Section 16 filings preferredPrior experience managing outside counsel and coordinating legal support across multiple business functions preferredFamiliarity with SEC regulations, securities laws, and corporate disclosure requirements preferredExperience assisting a private company in preparing for public company readinessFamiliarity with compliance management systems and governance best practicesExperience with litigation management and employment-related claimsWorking knowledge of intellectual property protection and licensing mattersExperience developing enterprise-wide compliance and ethics training programsAbility to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of company policies and procedures designed to minimize legal and compliance risksExperience assisting with internal investigations, including maintaining legal privilege, assessing risk, and providing strategic guidance on investigative outcomes and corrective actions.Fluency in Mandarin preferredAnnual Salary Range:($160,000 - $230,000 DOE), plus
