People like you.\nVisit our\ncareers\npage to see what exciting opportunities and company\nperks\nawait!\nJob Description:\nThe USB and Networking Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on pre-silicon verification of High-Speed Transceiver (HST) Products and sub-systems.\nJob Responsibilities:\nWork with Architects and designers to review architectural and micro-architectural specifications and develop comprehensive verification plans.\nActively participate in SOC test bench architecture, development.\nActive involvement in development of test sequences, test cases.\nPerform RTL and back-annotated simulations and debug.\nDefine and develop effective functional SV assertions and cover points.\nImplement solutions to automate the verification flow.\nSupport validation of silicon.\nInterface with cross-functional teams to understand the use-cases and develop test scenarios around them.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.\nExtensive knowledge of Verification flows and techniques at the RTL and gate level simulation using SV/UVM flows.\nHands on experience in creating/debugging complex test bench environments using Verilog/System Verilog/UVM.\nASIC/SoC Verification experience.\nGood understanding of SV assertions and coverage.\nGood understanding of digital design fundamentals.\nProficiency with UNIX-based scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL, AWK, CSH).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and documentation skills.\nExcellent problem solving and debugging skills.\nSelf-motivated, able to drive the verification activities.\nJob Requirements (Desired Skills):\nKnowledge of Ethernet protocols and interfaces.\nExtensive experience in working with SV-UVM based verification environments and driving the verification activities of a sub-system.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%\nPhysical Attributes:\nHearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others\nPhysical Requirements:\n10% Standing, 10% Walking, 80% Sitting, 100% Inside M-F 8-5pm\nMicrochip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
