Troubleshoot problems, report on usage, usability and advise on the appropriate action, managing each request until completion.\nYour Impact\nDemonstrate a solid understanding of audio and video theory, including the use of test equipment to ensure fully functional systems.\nMaintain current knowledge of vendor technologies and product offerings.\nPerform cable pulling and termination for audio, video, control, and network systems with proficiency.\nApply basic construction and electrical concepts effectively in AV installations.\nOperate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.\nThrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high-quality standards.\nExhibit initiative and a results-driven mindset, balancing quality with timely execution.\nCommunicate effectively with coworkers, clients, vendors, and management, presenting a professional and positive image.\nWork independently and collaboratively, managing diverse technical situations and customer needs.\nLead projects and guide team members to successful outcomes.\nBring a forward-thinking, innovative, and enthusiastic approach to team collaboration.\nInterface confidently with internal and external stakeholders using a solutions-oriented mindset.\nPossess strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.\nDeliver excellent customer service across all interactions.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma\n3+ years of Audio/Visual installation technical experience\nFamiliarity with product lines including Cisco, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Extron, Sharp, Polycom, Shure, QSYS etc.\nExperience with configuration & installation of audio visual systems\nProficient with various A/V terminations including RGB/RG6/Cat5/Compression/Solder etc.\nMust be competent with running a project and leading physical installations of the project from start to finish by specific deadlines\nStrong grasp of Audio & Video, equipment functionality, control, and some programming a plus\nBasic IP configuration of A/V Devices (i.e. Cisco Video Endpoints, Creston, QSYS)\nKnowledge of basic construction concepts, basic power and electrical concepts\nLight construction knowledge (hanging equipment in ceilings and/or walls)\nAbility to safely use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner\nHands-on experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AV systems, including:\nAdvanced understanding of signal flow, wiring standards, and structural building requirements.\nFamiliarity with AV signaling standards and video signal types (HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, Composite).\nKnowledge of aspect ratios, display types, and their applications.\nUnderstanding of audio signal types (balanced/unbalanced line level, microphone, 70v/8ohm speaker).\nProficiency with connectors such as HDMI, DB15 (VGA), BNC, RCA, XLR, ¼” TRS, Phoenix, RJ45.\nExpertise in rack building, wiring methods, power management, and cooling systems.\nAdvanced audio skills including DSP programming (multi-vendor) and room tuning.\nIndustry-standard AV equipment mounting techniques.\nExperience with Crestron room control systems and Cisco interoperability.\nFamiliarity with Crestron programming (preferred).\nConfiguration and usage of collaborative video endpoints (Cisco, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).\nUnderstanding of unified communications infrastructure and Cisco collaboration systems provisioning.\nKnowledge of digital signage hardware and delivery methodologies.\nComfortable with interacting with users, understanding user’s needs and managing expectations – excellent oral and written communication skills required\nWillingness to travel around 75% as needed to support installations, service calls, and project deployments.\nPosition Specifics\nThe initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $31.25 and $43.27 hourly. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.\nePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
