The Lead Auditor reports to the Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager. The Lead Auditor will be responsible to count merchandise at the store level in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner. They will then communicate the results to the appropriate departments. The Lead Auditor is responsible for all aspects of the audit. This includes the accurate entry of figures on the audit form and into the accounting system at store level and the accurateness of the Audit Assistant's count.\r\nEssential Job Functions\r\nCommunicates with Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager\r\nCommunicates with Store Analyst if needed\r\nCount all merchandise using audit equipment\r\nUse computer to post and book audit figures\r\nResearches the finding of audits as directed to do so\r\nScheduling audits\r\nManaging up to three person crews\r\nRequirements\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\r\nExperience in Retail or Auditing with outstanding communication skills\r\nAbility to take ownership over work and relationships with stores\r\nPossess strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills\r\nTeam player with a professional demeanor\r\nValid drivers license and good driving record\r\nOccasional overnight travel may be required\r\nPhysical Demand\r\nAbility to stand, bend over, work close to the ground, and climb ladders for long periods of time\r\nAbility to use a computer\r\nAbility to hear and speak for store and office support via telephone\r\nAbility to periodically lift for moving of merchandise in order to count accurately (> 40 lbs.)\r\nAbility to work in extreme cold or hot temperatures (coolers, sheds, drive thru, freezer)\r\nAbility to use a handheld scanner\r\nJob duties may change with or without notice\r\nPay is $17-$19 per hour based on experience.\r\nCircle K is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
