Facilities & Warehouse Technician
JOB SUMMARY: The Facilities/Warehouse Technician’s primary role is to provide work required in the areas of safety, security, maintenance, and fleet, emergency preparedness, warehousing, shipping and receiving, electronics testing and inventory control. Any other roles necessary to facilitate the department’s responsibilities are also required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (include but are not limited to)Warehousing, shipping & receiving; inventory control and transportGeneral facilities maintenance duties in various work locations, including building, lawn, and landscaping maintenancePerforms duties associated with buildings, grounds, furniture maintenance and furniture movingProvides, as needed, vehicle maintenance and vehicle transportation to and from service vendorsElectrical and mechanical maintenance and operations Maintains all Facilities/Warehouse Technician's equipment On-call response for the Facilities DepartmentMust comply with company safety rules and regulations at all times and report to supervision any situation in which personal safety and the safety of other employees or the general public is in danger of being compromisedProvides prompt, courteous service to all internal and external customersPrioritizes and addresses customer needs and demands in a professional manner, providing follow-up and developing cooperative relationshipsAssists team members in completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of serviceOrients new co-workers and actively support team developmentIdentifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve work processes and financial performanceAssists in design and implementation of quality improvement initiatives on departmental and organizational levelsMeets deadlines while maintaining attention to detailLeads and/or participates in special projectsOther duties as assignedOTHER DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (include but are not limited to)Stores, secures, conducts electronic testing, and organizes materials and equipmentReceives and unloads materials;
