They will be responsible for creating innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that meet DIRTTs clients’ requirements. They should have deep understanding of engineering principles, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage and mentor junior team members.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and oversee the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring that they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.\nCreate and optimize product designs, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards and client specifications.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product managers, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.\nImplement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are met throughout the design and development phases.\nIdentify and address engineering challenges, proposing creative and practical solutions to meet project objectives.\nMaintain accurate and organized project documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and reports.\nCollaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical insights, and ensure their satisfaction with the final product.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and contribute to the team's success.\nStay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of our designs and engineering services.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng., or PE) license.\n5 years of proven experience in product design and engineering services, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.\nProficiency in industry-standard design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.).\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.\nLeadership and mentorship experience is a plus.\nKnowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.\n\nWhat’s In It for You\n\nCompetitive base salary plus a variable pay (bonus) program\nEligibility to participate in DIRTT’s Employee Share Purchase Plan\nFor in-office roles: continental breakfast, coffee, tea, soda, daily hot cafeteria lunch, and snacks\nComprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage\nDisability and insurance benefits, including short- and long-term disability, life insurance, dependent coverage, and voluntary options (may vary by location)\nMental health and wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nA thorough and supportive onboarding program designed to set you up for success\n\nEqual Opportunity & Hiring Information\n\nDIRTT Environmental Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace.
