To learn more, please visit www.generousbrands.com.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE\nThe APEX Beverage Equipment Operator will assist in all areas of the Beverage Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production needs with the supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work. The Equipment Operator must be willing and able to assist in operating the Beverage Plant equipment.\nMonitor and log equipment values and parameters to include temperature and pressure gauges, indicators, and meters.\nTrack correct materials for all production requirements\nUnload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.\nComplete changeovers, CIP’s, PMs, clean and sanitize tools/equipment as directed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nIdentifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.\nEnsuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.\nCleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment.\nFix issues that might occur during the shift\nMaintain activity logs\nTrains new personnel on proper operational procedures\nSupports food safety, legality, and quality programs\nExperience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nProven, reliable work history\n\nADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing\nPro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision\nMust be able to work as a team and follow instructions\nProven experience operating machinery\nMechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools\nAbility to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systems\nExperience conducting quality tests and analyzing data\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nOne to two years’ experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred\nForklift certification\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds\nMust be able to stand and walk for extended period of time\nMust be able to work in freezer and cold, wet or humid conditions\n\nHOURS & WORKDAYS:\n3rd shift (10pm-630am) when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory.\n\nWHAT WE OFFER plus more!\n\nOur rich benefits packages are designed to support the health and well-being of both our eligible team members and families.\n\nMedical, Dental & Vision\nGroup Life and AD&D\nVoluntary Life and AD&D\nGroup Short & Long-Term Disability\n401(k)\nPaid Time Off\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nEmployee Assistance Program\nGym Membership Discounts\n\nEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY\nWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culturally diverse organization.
