Roofing and Siding Estimator/Supplementer (Insurance) - In Office

Summit Construction Group is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and hardworking individual to join our company as an estimator/supplementer! This is position consists of writing and evaluating insurance estimates and supplements, as well as communicating with insurance companies to reconcile scope of work and pricing issues. This is an OFFICE role. We are willing to train the right candidate. This is a 100% in-office position. There are no WFH or Hybrid options available. Experience is preferred but NOT required. We are willing to train hard working, intelligent, ambitious candidates! Ideal candidates will have experience in any/all of: storm restoration estimating, insurance work, roofing, siding, windows, Xactimate, Symbility, Acculynx, Hover, EagleView, and general exterior construction knowledge. Industry specific experience is preferred but not required- we will train the right person. The best candidates will be familiar with exterior construction, and ideally have experience using Xactimate estimating software. Responsibilities: · Analyze insurance estimates, property measurements, paperwork, and photos to write profitable roofing, siding, and windows estimates using Xactimate. · Effectively negotiate estimates with insurance companies and insurance adjusters. · Communication to Project Managers and General Manager on job progress. · Update CRM when new developments arise. · Close out files efficiently Qualifications: · 1-3 Years experience in exterior restoration preferred. · Construction Estimating experience preferred. · Ability to read and interpret insurance estimates. · Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to lead without supervision. · Must have good tech skills, high attention to detail, and great communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Office Hours: · 8am-6pm. Some Saturdays WILL be required during the summer months. Baseline expectation for salaried employees is 50 hours/week. Winter and early spring hours are less. · Salary staff may move to a reduced schedule in the winter (no salary reduction).
