{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"07b318980b60ea6a747df73d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/07b318980b60ea6a747df73d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/07b318980b60ea6a747df73d","title":"Lab Scale Operator","description":"About Piramal Pharma Solutions Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that offers end-to-end solutions across the drug life cycle, supported by a globally integrated network of facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia.\r\nJob Title Lab Scale Operator\r\nResponsibilities Conduct laboratory manufacturing following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) principles.\r\nExecute ADC manufacturing processes in strict accordance with safety regulations, industry best practices, and company policies.\r\nSet up appropriately scaled glassware and carry out preparative scale (10mL to 100L or higher) organic chemistry operations, including charging liquids and solids to a vessel, filtration, distillation, drying, and packaging.\r\nDocument observations from experiments in notebooks and complete production-related documentation.\r\nDismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment and maintain detailed documentation.\r\nConsult with scale-up team members to resolve chemistry or equipment issues that may arise during production.\r\nConduct use tests and additional laboratory experiments as directed by the Production Manager.\r\nMaintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance of the work area and equipment.\r\nSample production batches and raw materials to support laboratory activities.\r\nControl the inventory of basic raw materials, consumables, and wastes within the immediate working environment.\r\nCollaborate on the creation and revision of unit documentation (SOPs, batch records, cleaning documents).\r\nQualifications BS in Chemistry or equivalent.\r\n0–2years of experience in process development or production within the pharmaceutical or fine-chemical industry (highly desired).\r\nSolid understanding of downstream processing, with academic or internship exposure to chromatography (normal/reverse-phase) and crystallization (highly desired).\r\nJob Competencies Understanding of organic chemistry principles and nomenclature.\r\nMechanical skills in assembly, use of laboratory equipment and troubleshooting of equipment.\r\nIndependent user of applicable software systems, including Trackwise, SAP, and MasterControl.\r\nExcellent record-keeping and communication skills.\r\nAbility to interact effectively with all levels of the company.\r\nSelf-starter who can recognize tasks that need to be completed and adjust schedules to meet commitments.\r\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, OSHA, EPA) and general facility practices.\r\nMust be able to pass a respirator fit test.\r\nEEO Statement PPL provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
