Title: Core Thermal Hydraulics Engineer, AnalystLocation: Bellevue, WAPay: $75-87/hrJob Type: 12 Month ContractSchedule: On-Site in Bellevue or RemoteBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401kPer the client requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.Must Haves:B.S, M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or other relevant technical Engineering area from an accredited universityMinimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 8+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree with a demonstrated ability to produce a high-quality work product8+ years’ experience in Nuclear Systems Thermal-Hydraulic behavior and analysesDemonstrated knowledge and experience in advanced liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor core design and thermal hydraulic analysis using the subchannel analysis software (e.g. SE2-ANL, COBRA, VIPRE)Strong understanding on the uncertainty quantification, verification and validationTasksPerform the thermal-hydraulics analysis using the in-house subchannel analysis software to assess various scenarios that feed into the reactor safety design parametersPerform the work under the scope of company’s quality assurance program and following the company’s quality assurance requirements.Perform the origination and/or design verification reviews of calculation products generated following the company’s governing policies and proceduresDeliver the deliverables which are complete, correct, free from errors, omissions, faults or defects in design, workmanship and materials, in accordance with any performance guarantees, specifications and applicable laws
