Forklift OperatorUPCOMING IN-PERSON HIRING EVENT Where: Sheraton Hartford South Hotel (100 Capital Blvd, Rocky Hill, CT 06067) When: June 3rd AND June 8th, 2026 Time: 9am-5pm Come learn more about the event and complete onboarding!Role: Forklift Operator ($21/hr)What You Will Be DoingA uniform shirt and assignment will be given to you upon arrival on your first day.A forklift certification or license is required.Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing the liquefied-gas tank.Requirements:Previous supervisor experience in a related role is required.Forklift certification or license.Reliable Transportation.6+ months of relevant experience in your applicable role.Authorized to Work in the U.S.Ability to lift 30+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended period.Perks:$21 / HourFlexible Job OpportunitiesCompetitive Weekly PayDirect Deposit every FridayWork the BEST venues in your areaColleges & UniversitiesCountry Clubs, CasinosMajor Sporting EventsBanquet Halls, Corporate FacilitiesWarehouseMore available too!Whether you're in Hartford County, New Haven County, New London County, or anywhere in between, don't miss your chance to get in with a top-tier team and work the state's most exciting venues and events!
